Money Bags

I have been doing before and after school child care. Today when one of the little boys was dropped of he got $10 out of his backpack and handed it to Shayla. She put it in her pocket and nothing was said. I asked her what that was for and she told me "For the Jolly Ranchers I got him yesterday". Her teacher gives out Jolly Ranchers when they turn in homework and/or are staying on task. Then I asked her how many she had given him, "Two". WOW, $5 per Jolly Rancher, I think I'm in the wrong business. Of course I made her give the money back. To which she replied "that is what I always charge, how much am I supposed to charge? I'm the one doing all the work!" She's a smart one that girl. So I told her she could charge .50 cents per Jolly Rancher, then she said "well for that kind of money I might as well eat it myself!"

Now I'm wondering just how much money she has made off this little business of hers. Of course this is the kid who gets $10 for each tooth he looses. Maybe I should let her charge that? What do you think??

October REALLY??

Has it really been since October since I have posted on here? Crazy! I'm not going to try and go back and update you on all that I have been doing. Blogging has just taken a back burner to life. And I'm not going to sit here and tell you I'm back to regular blogging, cause who knows if I will be but I do miss connection with some amazing people. And I would like to reconnect with all you fine ladies, that is if everyone hasn't already taken me off the google reader and forgotten about me all together! So if your out there still reading leave me a comment. And I'm making a commitment to start commenting on others blogs, not just reading it in google reader!

I do want to share this cute blog with all of you. It's www.hair4myprincess.blogspot.com . My mom sent me the link and there are some amazing hairdos on there! I did one of the heart ones on Shayla for Valentines day, I thought it looked pretty cute. I don't know that I could ever get my girls to sit for some of those styles, but they are pretty cute!

Bitter Sweet

Last week I found out I get to go to Florida with my MIL and my SIL's. I am so excited! A week with no kids, just girls and fun! Cheap flights + cheap resort = a happy me! We are going here, here and here! The part that sucks is that all of you going to the premier of this will be enjoying the movie while I am flying home. I know waa waa right? But I was really looking forward to this movie with friends! So I guess I will have to drag Luke with me the next weekend! I know, I know you feel so sorry for me right???
